The dinosaur (?) below has proven to be one of Sam's most feared enemies; he panics and will not play near the afore mentioned fiend!

Luella is scared of going down the bathroom drain. Unless all toys, herself, and Gavin are out of the tub when the plug gets pulled, it's all out PANIC. Last bathtime, I was hysterically called in to rescue a bit of soap. To her credit, that piece of soap was at least small enough to actually be lost.
ReplyDeleteI remember Lauren being really afraid of similar things - clowns, pieces of rope that look like snakes, bugs, dragons, loud noises. I could feel the reaction in her body - rapid heartbeat, fight or flight body tone, holding on to my hand for dear life. It was like she was being physically assaulted by these things. Although she still hates clowns and snakes, my big, brave 17 year-old girl leaves for an adventure to France on Thursday. Her mommy is trying to stay calm.
