Christmas Pictures from 2010

We had the privilege of spending Christmas Eve with our lovely friends the Wilhites' and the Carneys' (seen in the group picture below).  Our original intent was to attend a Christmas Eve service together after dinner, but after we finally sat down to eat and the kids were settled, we agreed to bag the service in favor of a more relaxing evening together.  In lieu of a service, we decided to involve the kid's in a short play about Christmas using costumes and whatever we had on hand.

Our friends brought a special dessert that involved lots of green food coloring, resulting in bright green tongues.

Christmas morning our camera lens broke (thankfully it's still under warranty) so we weren't able to get the best shots.  Here are the boys playing with some of their new toys.

Christmas evening was spent with our dear friends the Weltys' and the Brookins', but due to the unfortunate camera accident, this was the only picture we got!!!  We had a great evening of fellowship and food.  Here are the kids below enthralled with a video.

The Monday following Christmas we spent the day with my brother Jeremiah, his wife Jenni, and their daughter Zella.  The bought us tickets to "Santa's Wonderland" as a gift, which was an incredible display of lights near their home in College Station.    We went on a hayride to view the lights, eat Kettle Korn, see barn animals, meet Frosty, see "snow," and even watch an Elvis impersonator!  Nothing says Christmas like Elvis.  Thanks Jer and Jenni!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
